Building Information Modeling Software

Encotech has incorporated Autodesk’s Revit software into our portfolio of design tools, and the firm is actively pursuing projects with BIM requirements. Encotech utilized Revit on the recent City of Austin Garrison Pool Renovations project, for which we served as the prime firm. As such, Encotech was able to set the precedent for the use of Revit among the entire design team. The model shown above was produced during the course of the project to aid in determining the ideal positioning of pump equipment. When embraced and utilized by the entire project team, BIM software is useful for improving communication and preventing errors before they turn into costly change orders.

Encotech has also produced 3-D Models in other software for a number of projects, including the City of Austin Davis Water Treatment Plant Upgrades, Downtown Tunnel, Waller Creek Tunnel, and NEPA Urban Rail Alternatives Analysis.
