Encotech was founded in 1990 by President and CEO Ali Khataw in Austin, Texas. The firm has grown steadily over the past 20 years, taking on increasingly complex roles in engineering design and project management. In 2009, Encotech opened a second headquartered office in San Antonio, Texas.  A key factor in Encotech’s growth has been the firm’s commitment to quality design, responsiveness to clients, and development of meaningful and long-term relationships.

Encotech has also adapted well to the changing needs of our industry, including movements toward sustainable design and Building Information Modeling systems. We understand the short term and long term benefits of these and other innovations to the owner and to the project team, both during the course of a project and throughout the life of the building. Encotech embraces these opportunities to expand our knowledge base and to serve our clients better.
