Encotech provided Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) Engineering for both the retail shell and multiple tenant spaces. Encotech also provided Structural Engineering for several tenant spaces.
Endeavor Real Estate Group broke ground in mid - October 2006 on 1890 Ranch, Cedar Park’s largest retail center. 1890 Ranch is a tribute to the original name of the site, which was once a cattle ranch. The rustic architecture and modern elements of the development allow for convenient and comfortable shopping for the rapidly growing Cedar Park community.
Located at the northeast corner of US Toll Road 183A and FM 1431, the $125 million development provides patrons a one-stop retail center complete with restaurants and entertainment. The 900,000 square foot project includes a 12-screen Cinemark Theater, Wachovia Bank, Compass Bank, PetSmart, OfficeMax, and a Super Target.
The 90-acre development’s first phase includes 100,000 square feet of office space and 530,000 square feet of retail space. Another 50,000 square feet of restaurants with outdoor courtyards, a food court, a large plaza area and office spaces are also included in Phase I, which was completed in the Fall of 2007. The second phase of 1890 Ranch began in mid-2007 and included 270,000 square feet of retail space.
Anchored by a 177,000 square foot Super Target, the shopping center also features several junior anchors and multiple shop space tenants, attracting a wide variety of shoppers. 1890 Ranch is an extraordinary addition to the community, allowing the growing city to capture sales tax dollars that would otherwise go elsewhere.
