North Rural Community Clinic
Encotech served as the prime for Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) Engineering services for the Travis County North Rural Community Center and Clinic.
The facility featured a medical clinic, administrative offices, a kitchen, and group activity areas. The MEP scope of work included the design of special negative pressure rooms for containment of contagious airborne diseases in the clinic, design of a full-service kitchen including kitchen hoods, plumbing and grease trap, walk-in cooler and freezers, and design of an energy recovery ventilator in the public activity areas.
The HVAC units were designed along a catwalk in the attic areas, with zoning for separate agencies sharing the building.
